Hello and welcome to the new Night and Day Designs Blog -- I am excited to be here and I hope you are, too.  Allow me to introduce myself.  I am the sole proprietor of the small graphic design business called Night and Day Designs.  I chose this name because I love art in all of it's shapes and forms.  I don't want to get pigeon-holed into a particular genre or style because I feel my personal design style can be as different as night and day, depending on what strikes my fancy on any particular day.

It feels like I have been creating things my whole life. I opened my Zazzle shop in June of 2018 to give myself a creative outlet that I could take advantage of any time of the day or night without worrying about making a mess and/or cleaning it up! For those of you unfamiliar with Zazzle, it is an online print on demand store. They have thousands of products that you can customize to suit your needs. Many people don't have either the time or inclination to do their own artwork and that's where the Zazzle Designers come in. We are busy night and day posting new products for your enjoyment. Many products are templated so all you have to do is fill in the blanks and upload you own photos when necessary. Zazzle is a great place to shop for weddings, party supplies, personalized gift items and so much more.

I am a self-taught artist. While I can't speak to a lot of art history or art theory as if I had an art degree, I believe I have a good eye for design and that the products I make for you on the Zazzle platform are worthy of your good taste, your time, and your perusal. I am inspired by the world around me. It might be the shape of a building spotted while running an errand, a sea shell found on a sandy beach, or a combination of colors on a wall full of yarn--for those with an artistic eye the world is full of delights that can be utilized to make art. When creating products for my shop I use either my own original art or purchased commercial use product and artworks in the public domain. My goal is to create product for you that is both timely and timeless. From seriously beautiful to happily humorous Night and Day Designs has got you covered.
