Recipe Organizers
I've always loved cooking. In fact, I have a bookcase full of cookbooks in my kitchen. Everyone in the family has their personal faves that I cook on a regular basis, but for the cook, that's not always enough. I am always looking for a new recipe that I can amaze and delight my family with.
The advent of the internet opened up endless possibilities for the home cook. Anyone with access to the internet has access to many thousands of recipes right at their fingertips, free for the asking. I will admit to being an online reicpe junkie. I will also admit that among the recipes I have found some were total stinkers. I save all the reicpes I want to try into my "Recipes" folder on my computer. They don't get printed until I try them out.
If the we decide that the recipe is not very good it goes straight into the trash. If the recipe gets three thumbs up it becomes a keeper. The question is what do you do with all those keepers?
When I got married my Mom gave me a recipe file with all of our family favorites that she cooked for us when we were growing up. Each 4 x 6 recipe is hand-written (she had the
most beautiful handwriting) and indivdually wrapped in plastic. Over the years, I've added my own recipe cards but they don't have Mom's plastic wrapping. I will tell you one thing--my unwrapped cards are now stained and messy from years of use while Mom's wrapped cards are still in pristine condition! The small card collection in a box is a nice way to store your recipes. The best way to store your full or half page printed recipes from the internet is in a custom binder from Night and Day Designs. I highly recommend the use page protectors. It's an extra expense to begin with but they will keep your recipes clean and they won't have to be reprinted.
I have designed a collection of Recipe Organizer 3 ring binders. These are high quality full-size Avery binders that can be purchased in 1", 1 1/2", and 2" thicknesses. There is also a mini binder size. Most of them can be customized with personal information such as family names, or the cooks name, etc.

I am offering a large selection of printable pages that coordinate with my Zazzle recipe organizers. Each design comes in three different configurations and include both lined and unlined versions. Each set also includes both .jpg and .pdf files. While these pages coordinate with my designs, they can be used in any full size three ring binder.
Printing Tips
All of the pages in these downloads were designed for 8 1/2 x 11 paper. The mini bnder pages will need to be cut in half after printing. Because there are so many types of printers out there, when printing the pages I recommend choosing a "fit to page" type of setting. I've given you both lined and unlined pages as I feel some of you will want to hand write your recipes, while others will have software that will allow them to make use of the unlined files in their editing programs.
